Children’s Ministry

“train them and teach them the ways of the Lord as you raise them.”Ephesians 6:4 – NIrV.

The Children’s Ministry at Connection Community Church is dedicated to providing much more than safe, dependable care for your child while you are in worship. Our team of volunteers is passionate about partnering with you to help your child connect with Jesus and the life He offers.
At Connection, children learn how Jesus came to Earth over 2,000 years ago and how He lived a perfect life:

  • When the right thing meant hanging out with tax collectors, Jesus did it.
  • When the right thing meant blessing the little children, Jesus did it.
  • When the right thing meant forgiving someone who had done wrong, Jesus did it.

Each week, the children explore God’s word and begin to understand how to use scripture as a guide for their lives. They learn to worship God by the way they live, to share their faith with others and to turn to God in prayer. We hope you and your children will join us!

GOD SQUAD IS A UNIQUE ARTS MINISTRY FOR KIDS IN GRADES 1-5

Come join us as we LAUGH, SING, ACT, MOVE…LEARN! We want everyone to hear the Good News! Together we investigate Bible truths, act out Bible stories, and examine Bible verses. Every Tuesday, it’s a celebration! Then,God Squad presents monthly presentations in the Sunday worship services.

God Squad is “small group” for kids. We pray for each other and encourage one another in Christian love.Won’t you visit us this Tuesday from 5:30-6:15pm? See you there!

Kids Connection is a fun and exciting Connection ministry for our children in 4th-5th grades! We meet the first and third Sunday of the month at noon (immediately after the last service). We eat lunch together, play games, and just hang out to have fun and talk about what’s going on in our lives.

We do community service projects as well: this Christmas we made Christmas cards for the residents of Broadmeadow Nursing Home.
